We have a group of 12-16 people that eat out together about once a month. We usually try to find a restaurant willing to divide up the check but with such a large group and mostly only diners willing to do it we run into a problem at the better restaurants. I feel that when you agree to go to group dinners you have to be willing to split the check evenly among the people at the table. One or two others are resisting saying that is unfair especially if some have one glass of wine and others don't. We limit the alcohol to one drink. My feelings are if you have that much of a concern over a few dollars you should not participate in group dinners. Please help. Thank you"
