My family is not paying for cent of our wedding and my fiance's family is stuck paying for the whole thing. My mom just wants no part of it, and my dad is broke with medical bills. I feel like it's making me less willing to give my opinion about things. Already the location is somwhere I'm not happy about (it's much too big for our needs and will look silly with a small amount of people) and I can't use the officiate we wanted to because of it (a good friend who is a judge in the state we wanted to originally have it). I'm trying to be understanding. I also feel completely embarrassed. How would you feel? How did you handle this? Also, how should the invites be worded?
