i have a 99 ford explorer. last night i started to notice what kind of felt like a grinding in the brakes. it sounded similar to the sound of having a branch stuck in your tires. i'm going away this weekend and am unable to get it into a shop until i return. i'm looking for advice on if it'll be safe to take on the trip, as i need to drive it.
i don't think it's my actual brakes grinding. it feels somewhere in my wheel but kind of feels the same way. you can hear the noise while driving, without hitting the brakes.
