I bought 2 cute little GSP's at Walmart the other day because I felt really bad for them and they were SO cute. The person at Walmart had no knowledge on them and so I decided I would research once I got home, (probably not a good idea). So I put them in my 30gl freshwater tank with my other fishies. And went to look them up. First thing that I read was that they dont get along well with other fish, they are doing perfectly with my mollys, guppies, betta, mickey mouse fish and my little algea fish. They have been together for 3 days and they are doing really good. But thats not my problem, my problem is the salt level, can my other fish have the amount of salt that my GSP's need? Or will it kill them? I have no idea about salt tanks. If so how much salt does the tank need? I was planing on going to petsmart later to see if they knew.

Second, my GSP's keep changing color, at one point the green color on one of them was lightened, and now after Ive fed them they have a ring of black around them (where the white and green meet). Do they not like to food? Its dried baby shrimp, I was planing on getting them bloodworms tonight. How often do I need to feed them snails? I read once a week. And do I just buy them from the petstore? And how do I keep the snails or do I just buy them the day of?

I heard the color issue may be from stress, or it is from stress. Is this because of my freshwater? I had my water tested a week or 2 ago and all levels are good. And the last thing is one of their tummys isnt nicely round, theres like a lump on it. What could it be and how can I fix it?
Thanks! Sorry this is so long, I really like my little puffer fish I dont want to have to give them back! But if I have to I will, I dont want to kill them. :[ I really want to try to make it work, and keep them.
