Awhile back, while I was browsing the internet one day, I had my laptop on my desk. I wasnt doing anything different or odd with it. And suddenly, out of nowhere, the bottom of the screen developed a green tint to it. I was confused as to why, but it only went to a little bit higher than the start bar. After some more time, it crept up slightly higher.
Today, the entire screen just tinted green out of nowhere. It's got random lines of pink in it, and sometimes the pink comes in stronger and fades away to green in random areas of the screen. I have an HP laptop, and it's less than a year old. I got it in February of this year. I do have a warranty on it still - but I'd rather see if there's anything I can do on my own about this first.
I figure its something with the wiring. But, what could have caused this? Something I did? Or was it probably a defective screen to begin with, considering it's age? And is there anything at all I can try to do in order to fix this, possibly?
