So, I was watching a really bad storm from my back door tonight. And while I was watching, a big huge flash of green light filled the sky. It wasn't just a tiny flash, it filled the whole sky. Is that normal? I've heard of colored lightning but this was different. How does something like that happen?
Well, it was about 9 or 9:30 when I saw it. And no, it had nothing to do with the sun about to set. I'm nowhere near a lake. It was just pitch black one second and then the next this green light filled the entire sky. I'm in Texas so it's pretty hot outside.
To JB, that looks about right. Mine looks like the one where the green takes up the whole sky. Only less blue-ish. It must have been really close though. I didn't hear or see where it came from, which doesn't mean much because the storm was so bad I totally didn't even hear the sirens when they went off. Nor could I see through the uber creepy pitch black sky. But it makes the most sense. Thanks.
