not the egyptians not the greeks nor the romans achived nearly as much as the phonicians. many of the great inventions of the world have been attributed to the above civilisations. but if you look hard enough it was actuly the phonicians how spread civilsation technology any econimy across the world
 
I totally agree with you, the Phoenicians created an infrastructure for all the later civilizations. They were one of the largest B.C. empire that existed.
