Greatest and unusual love triangles

What do you consider to be some of the greatest and / or most unusual love triangles ever?

Kagome / InuYasha / Kikyo (InuYasha) - I love the series, and the stories are awesome, and this love triangle is no exception. It is basicly a love triangle between InuYasha and two women are spiritally the same person, though later on Kagome and Kikyo are both alive at the same time?

Usagi / Mamoru / Chibi-usa (Sailor Moon) - Not really a love triangle because as much as Chibi-usa adores Mamoru and loves to spent time with him, I don't think she has those types of feelings as she knows that is her future father, but defentely a rivalory between Usagi and Chibi-usa and it is a weird type of rivalory between mother and daughter fighting over the husband / father's attention.

Feel free to add, BTW I am trying to think of love triangles in which the two rivals are the opposite gender? Can anyone think of any in which the love triangle is not only between two people but two life styles?

There's so many Love Triangles in Ranma 1/2, I'll just name my favorites.

Ryoga-Akane-Ranma: I love seeing those two fight it out for her, and yet Akane doesn't even know that Ryoga likes her. xD

Shampoo-Ranma-Akane: Shampoo is a hilarious character, and it's funny when she fights Akane. xP
 
Goliath/Elisa/Demona (Gargoyles) - Goliath and Demona, two Gargoyles, had a great love between them, even having an unhatched daughter (Angela), until the massacre that destroyed their clan. 1,000 years later, Goliath meets the human Elisa and the two eventually have a Beauty & The Beast type romance, while Demona's become a cold and bitter human hating menace, whom still has feelings for Goliath despite trying to kill him at every turn (at least up until the Avalon arc when she meets Thailog)
 
Well, there's Popeye, Olive and Bluto. You know, it's funny: In the animated cartoons, Olive comes across all too often as less than desirable. But it's a very different story in the comic strip the cartoon arose from - "Thimble Theatre Starring Popeye". In that she's intelligent, resourceful, feisty as all get out, and reasonably loyal (the only time she strays from Popeye's side is when he acts the boor...and being a sailor, he often does. I remember reading one strip in which Olive pushes him too far and he hits her! :ack: Not hard, but enough to startle her and then make her mad. She stomps off and tells a passing gentleman all about it, and he goes over to Popeye and demands: "Did I hear right? Did you hit a woman?" Popeye guiltily acknowedges that he did. And the gentleman says: "Sir, I wanna shake your hand! You're the bravest man I've ever met!' and Popeye yells "It ain't nothin' to be proud of, ya swab!" and hauls off and belts him. Funny stuff. And unfortunately, nothing like what you'll find in those awful Paramount cartoons.

And Archie, Veronica and Betty. Eh! They should both dump him. Betty should hook up with Jughead IMO. He seemed to like her in the comic books. Veronica should marry Reggie and then they could make each other miserable instead of everyone else around them. :p
 
Live Triangles eh...well I don't know about Greatest or unusual, but here's the ones I like.

Ryoko/Tenchi/Ayakea: I like this one beacause it so entertaining. Youve got the Ex-crimanial Ryoko who's head over heels for tenchi & would do anything for him, but he finds her annoying most of the time...Then youve got Ayakea who also Likes tenchi & I love watching Ryokko & Ayeka duke it out over every lil thing (But mostly over tenchi! LULZ!)

Also One wich People argue with me about Flonnee/Laharal/Etna Now I know you can say oh the bloody fan boy is just shipping! but hear me out! Flonnee is one of those people who basically just loves everyone (reminds me of goofy! LULZ!) & Goes care about the prince. Then Lahral Who always acts so Rude to Flonne & Etna Really cares about them despite, even though He won't admit it. & Etna Despite all her taunting Really Cares about the Prince & wants him to grow up to be a great man like his Father King Krichevscoy! yea not really romantic or a LOVE Triangle Perse! but yea its the only other thing I could remotly think of! sorry.:sweat:
