great signal everywhere but the beaches

i live in san pedro, ca

i've noticed that verizon has really crummy signal near the beaches

while it excels in most parts of my town compared to other people, when I hit up cabrillo beach (which i frequent often) it just sux

they really need to make a new cellphone tower in the center of town instead of on the outskirts !

Yeah, but noone wants one in their backyard. Like with everything verizon has good and bad points. Suxs that a favorite hangout is a dead zone though. Have you tried different phones? sometimes phone "A" will get better reception than phone "B"
