I live in Central New York and I'm looking for specific hiking areas to visit. I have walked through simple flat trails in the woods, and I have climbed up a few easy mountain trails. I would like to find a place that is less than a 3 hour drive from Utica, and can be completed in a day.
If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them! But please be specific... I don't want to see "go to the Adirondacks" or anything like that. Tell me the name of a mountain or the location of a trail head. Thank you in advance!!
