A friend once told me about an interview with Stanley Kubrick where the director talked about how much he LOVED the "Iron Eagle" movies... (Yes, Lou Gosset Jr., Jason Gedrick)
We both thought this was pretty weird, and funny.
I remembered this when I watched an interview segment on the dvd for Robert Bresson's "L'Argent." In this piece, taped around the time of the Cannes Film Festival, the director talks about having taken his nieces to see the latest James Bond film. At the time this was, "For Your Eyes Only."
And Bresson LOVED "For Your Eyes Only." Said he would've watched in again immediately afterward if not pressed for time.
Does anyone else know of these kinRAB of stories?
