I've received some excellent and interesting responses here in trying to learn about coffee, but still haven't quite found the answer I'm seeking.
I'm not particularly interested in learning all the technical terms and aspects of brewing the type of coffee that I like to drink...I'd simply like to brew it.
I believe I can have a great cup of coffee at home, that tastes (or would to me) nearly the same as a cup of espresso. I have not read a little bit on "Steam Espresso Pots" (which I think are also referred to as "Moka Pots" (?) ... will these produce something similar to an espresso, which I could possibly add a "shot" of to my regular drip coffee, please?
Thanks in advance...
Thanks to the first person to answer, but I am in no way able to plunk-down $1000 or more for a machine...I think I can get something "near" that espresso taste for less than $50, but I am not sure exactly how to make that happen ... and when you say; "the grind", do you mean like getting/using a bean-grinder, because I do have one of those stuffed in a closet somewhere here...
