I am a freshman attending college majoring in studio art right now. I was planning on transfering to another school that offers a major in graphic design junior year. This is becoming complicated though and might end up causing me to take 6 years to graduate
I was thinking of just staying in school for the BA in studio art, but my question is: Do you think id be less likely to be hired in the long run if i had a BA in studio art as opposed to a BA in graphic design? i hope to eventually be hired into a firm of some sort that works with creating flyers for events, business cards, graphics for advertisement basically. Any advice will be helpful
There is also the option of continuing at my current school and getting my BA in studio art, and then going to the other school and getting a Masters in Graphic design, would i be allowed to do that?
