I have a degree in graphic design from 2000 so I've been out of the business for awhile. I am now a special education teacher. I would like to make a book of graphic organizers and see if I can get published. I know it's a long shot but I will use the graphic organizers with my students too which would make me very happy. I want a program that I can make organizers with. I would love to find a good, solid program that I could create organizers, text and drawings with. I used to love Photoshop even though I'm sure that's not the best program for what I'm doing. I looked into Inspiration which looks AWESOME for graphic organizers but I don't think it has many utilities for creating other educational materials down the road. Any suggestions?
