I live at a place where i must park on my inclined driveway. Its winter now, and twice I've come out in the morning to my car having slid, once into the street because of our inclined driveway! I drive a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and I can get my e-brake to set to give me that extra bit of holding power. My friend and I even went as far to find a very slick patch of ice, push the e-brake to the floor, and only when I touched the regular brakes to take some of the weight off the back of the car did the e-brake actually lock a tire. I've searched high and low for a way to tighten this or fix it so i don't slide into the street overnight again, but I've not come up with anything.
