I want to go hike the Grand Canyons. However, I have some questions:
1) When is the best time to go? I was thinking of going in March, but have heard that some of the trail is icy. Is this true in March? If so, how much of the trail should I expect to be icy?
2) What is the least narrow trail that will take me to the bottom of the Grand Canyon? I am afraid of heights and so would not like to go on a trail that is narrow. I don't mind steep, but it must be wide enough. Also, for whichever trail that is the least narrow, what is the small width the trail becomes? For example, is it 3 foot wide, 5 foot wide or 8 foot wide at the narrowest part of the trail.
I appreciate your help. Brief answers will do just fine, so long as all my questions are answered.
