Grafitti 1 on T5

I've used Grafitti 1, and much prefer it to G2.

Is it possible to replace the G2 strokes on the T5 with G1 strokes? If so, what are the side affects? Will I lose any of the functionality or will it just change the shape of the characters (which is what I want)?

If it's not possible to get G1 to restore on a T5, is it possible to buy something more like G1 for a T5 anywhere?

The problem with G1 is that I don't know anyone that has successfully installed it on the T5 because of the NVFS memory. And tealscript is more flexible and trainable then either G1 or G2.

Thanks to both. Tealscript looks good, but I'm using G1 for now thanks to Mokoni.

Is it straightforward to install? I would love to have G1 back, I hate G2, not nearly fast enough for me!

You COPY the two files (do not install) from the SD card to the RAM memory.

That is all there is to it. G1 will be on the T5.

We've been doing this on the T3 and T2 for years.

Sorry to be naive but how do I get them onto the SD card? Copy using a card reader? Which folder do they have to go in? When I copy from SD card to RAM will it invite me to select a folder?

Yes, use a SD card reader on your PC or Mac and copy the files from wherever there on your computer to anywhere you want on the SD card. The route directory, no specific file folder, is fine. Then use FileZ on the Palm and find the two files on the SD card. Then tap on the two files and select the drop down menu to "Copy" the two files to RAM. Do a soft reset on the Palm and you'll be good to go with G1 back on the T5.
