Compared to other students in my grade, I am definitely not the smartest, but I try very hard to be. I go to one of the most elite schools in the country (a private school) and the curriculum is very rigorous. Because the curriculum is so rigorous i tend to get lower grades than kids in public schools. Considering that I'm hispanic and go to a much harder school, will these two factors be sufficient to put me in that same level (or above) of the kids getting much better grades in other schools? Or will this put me at a disadvantage for getting into college?
