No i didnt hit the fender. it is the reflection of the edge of the fender strut that folows the fender. i wouldnt be able to forgive myself if i did something like that. I thought some one might see that and call me on it.

Thanks,

Save me alot of time of going to different stores and finding parts & what not. Found nuts on ebay for $12 and my buddy welded them. Looks just like your smooth n clean, but the only problem, I do have is now I do notice the infamous wobble everyone talks about on baggers. ( Took grab bar off like maybe 6 months ago. I reckon the grab bar acts like a sway bar. So now if If i hit a curve leaning in I notice the wobble or a sharp turn I notice it swaying. My buddy did the same thing he weighs 300lbs doesn't notice the swaying, but it's probably because of his weight holding the bike down. I weigh 210. So.......Now Iam thinking of putting the streamliner luggage rack with grabbar or a kit from Phoenix customs to stop wobble. Knees to the wind! Does look nice though without grab bar give n take. Peace out!

Anyone else notice the Wobble Rod's talking about. I was considering doing this but the wobble makes me a little nervous. Any input might change my mind.

Damn that looks exactly like what Ive been doing to bikes since '99

Anyway, no ill affects from this, I ran it on my Road King for 8 years and on my Street Glide for 3 now. Both with detachable tour paks and never had an alignment issue.

The auto gems are a bolt on deal, the light comes with a mounting bracket to replace the bar, I've had them on mine for 7 yrs with no wobble. I hooked mine into my brake lights to add extra visibility, mine are red, they come in five colors, just check out auto-gems.
