GPS is built in blackberry phones, Verizon disables it. How is this not antitrust?

So, you get this cool new phone. I will say for the sake of argument that you bought it directly from blackberry. Maybe even on ebay. You had an old phone from Verizon wireless and placed your sim card into the new BB. You purchase the data plan to get the full capabilities and set it up. There is the cool, Google Maps application that you can download for free and it has a GPS direction feature. But wait, Verizon disables the GPS unless you subscribe $10.00 per month for VZ Nav. How is this not a violation? From my research, Verizon is the only provider to disable the GPS built in on phones.
For the record, I have had a BB on the Verizon network for some time. I am asking hypothetically.
I feel the need to also include that I do subscribe to VZ nav just to use my phone fully as the manufacture intended.
joe, look into it a little k... Point is not "moot."

Taken directly from Crackberry.com no matter what it has, verizon disables the GPS...

I would be happy but....

Although a part of me is happy that they finally released a curve for verizon but honestly whats the point. Verizon disables the GPS feature that comes with the phone also you cant install the free AIM app that blackberry offers. So why bother.

CDMA or not, Verizon disables the GPS built into the BB unless you have the VZ NAV
I guess I should just take my sim card out of my phone then huh Joe? Enjoy your "points" for answering and not ANSWERING the question.
