I have recently gotten a Magellan Roadmate 300 for my car. It doesn't not have the ability to be battery powered. I often make day trips into the Big Apple. So, I have been checking out GPS for my T5. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I have been looking at various options.
I came across this:

I don't want to jump on anything to hastely. Please give me some ideas, feedback, etc....

Dump the Magellan unit and get this:

I use a Garmin 2620 - although no battery capability the map set is the same and the readibility of the T5 in the car will be very poor compared to the dedicated GPS screens.

The unit I flagged does have battery capability.

To get the price, you'll have to provide an email address (bogus will work) and it will then take you to the price page.

Also I've dealt with GPSCITY.com many a time and they are great people.

Also, if you decide you must have a GPS device tied to the T5...don't get a BT one because of dual battery drain and the fact that you can't use BT with anything else concurrently because of limitations of the Palm OS so your dialing of your cell phone - won't work at the same time as the GPS.
