GPRS to GSM every night

My 8700G (TMO) keeps switching from GPRS to GSM sometime during the night. I have called TMO on it but they cannot replicate the issue since they say it is happening at night.

I have to turn off/on the wireless every morning for emails to start working again. This has been going on for 5 nights.

Has anyone else had this problem?
 
No, it changes from GPRS to GSM... having slow data to having NO data and only phone. I dont have EDGE service at my house.

It happened again early this morning.
 
well since you don't have EDGE/edge (yes they are different) in your area and only GPRS is available you're most likely experiencing problems due to interference from other more powerful transmitters and it's killing your phone's ability to pick up it's signal so it defaults itself...if it's only @ night then it's either some one in the neighborhood with antennas pulling free-air satelite television or possibly a company in the area as well...since you're relying on GPRS it can get garbled up if you're not close enough to a repeater tower...hope this helps...maybe tell us where you live and things in the area
 
I live in a rural area (Middleburg, FL). I can see the cell tower from my house that TMO uses.

Is there anything specific in the ALT LGLG log of the BB that would give a clue to TMO as to what is going on?

I'm in Jax Beach and my phones doing the same we're only 30 miles apart though :P
 
My phone is still driving me crazy, switching from GPRS to GSM a few times a day now. It only does it at home. When I am at work (30m away) it stays in EDGE all day. Can someone review the log and see what is going on?
