got one business proposal from placement company?

I have got one business proposal from placement company,

Offer is like, I have to co-ordinate between candidate and company.

If candidate selected the I will get 50% commission from placement co.
But before that I have to pay some joining amount.

I just want to know, is this is scam or it’s real.
