I certainly understand your frustration, but be happy there is nothing really wrong, such as cancer or Barrett's esophagus, or even an ulcer.
I felt the same as you do three years ago when the results of my endoscopy came up exactly as yours. Everything looked "normal" but I still had and still experience heartburn. I am not sure the endoscopy can tell you whether or not you have reflux. They look down your esophagus and stomach for signs of malignancy, ulcers and H-Pylori, but I don't think the endoscopy can tell you whether or not your LES is closing. Reflux is shown through a barium swallow, I think.
If you have symptoms, you still need treatment. You probably need to follow up with your regular doctor to see whether you need to take a PPI or what other tests they recommend. In my case, I stopped with the endoscopy because I had to pay a large portion of that bill and could not afford all the other expensive tests. But if you have good insurance, there are many other tests that can be performed to pinpoint your condition.
I am glad to hear the endoscopy turned out well. Hang in there. I am sure you will continue to read, post here and learn. Other posters will also provide their input.
