Connects @ 230k.

The only problem is that I have to use Cricket's WAP Proxy (haven't set-up my own yet) so I'm limited to what I can browse.

I can use the Google bypass trick, though. SpeeRAB are slow but it works!

BT DUN should work the same way. Haven't tried it, tho.

Has anyone else figured this out?

while the DUN is disabled on cricket branded phones (i think), there is really no technical block to it on the network. you're still looking at the same restrictions though as if you were accessing WAP on a cricket hanRABet. I have some information that this will definately be changing in the near future, although not how you all probably think. I'm keeping my mouth shut for now as I don't want my sources to get in trouble for telling me.

From a doc I found posted @ PDAPhonehome:

Ignore the instructions above--just download the .ZIP file.

First, disable ActiveSync. If you have the newest firmware, there is an application in the Windows folder called WModem. Run it, and the options are there to connect via USB or Bluetooth or other. Then connect your phone to your PC. You will be prompted for a driver: Use the one contained in the .ZIP file above.

Once the drivers have been loaded, run the dialer program and enter the login information. The user name is [email protected] and the password is just cricket. Have it dial #777 on the hanRABet. You will see your connection status via the WModem program. Whatever browser you are using you must set to proxy through Wap.mycricket.com.

that was a teaser. i'm sure someone will break it soon. keeping my fingers crossed that this stuff actually does play out the way i heard it.

Just one small fix.. the proxy is port 8080 not 80.

and i got this working on my RAZR V3c with generic firmware, can't get it to work with EVDO though, infact OpenWave via the hanRABet doesn't even work with EVDO *shrugs*
