can i lose my license? I am 16, about 1 more month and my provisional license was up. I was driving with a couple friends and I couldn't see a turn, so I didn't have time to slow down. I was going about 40. And so I had to take the turn at 40, we slid out and hit a public tree. No damage done to ANYTHING, but the car. Everyone was ok, everything was ok, but the car was totalled. I didn't get any tickets for anything. Just had the police come and take the report and had it towed away. Of course, we all got scolded by our parents. But there is one thing I am worried about. The officers didnt cite anything, luckily, but we filed the claim to insurance. I was in violation of both the restrictions (Carrying persons under 20 and driving after 11 P.M.) on my provisional license, once again though the officers didn't note this at all. Is it still possible that my license will be revoked because we had to notify the insurance company about the accident and in turn, that will be notified to the DMV? Thank you for any help, it would really ease my mind.
