Recently I got an $800 bill from Verizon. The month before when I paid my bill, my balance was $0, now it’s $800. I called customer service and asked them why this was and they told me it was for international calls. But I have an international calling plan that I use to call several universities ONLY in Canada for (I’m going to be going to school up there). Customer service was really no help in explaining anything, but put me on a 3 month “probation” to catch up on my bill. I haven’t paid a cent yet because I think this is outrageous. I just got the breakdown of the bill from them and added all of the charges up. At MOST I owe $140-ish. What the h--- is going on? I want to cancel my cell phone plan with them, but how can I get out of $800?
