...got a clue if it is adjustabl? i put my car in park in my 06 Cobalt Lt an it is not releasing the key from ignition an the shifter does not lock in park or lock you from accidently pushing into reverse from drive in another words you can pull shifter back an forth no effort any idea's ?
ok lil more detail right now its in the garage in park motor off but key wont go back far enough to release an pull out its in the shifter mech i know but i dont want to pull out the shifter assy, i am inclined to think this shifter mech is not locking in positions ex: Park , an if your in drive you can push the shifter forward into park without pushing button on top of shifter i might be wrong wtf knows ?
