I'm working with the datings of the new testament books.
I've come across the idea, that Peter came to Rome in 42AD and was forced to leave by the Claudius Edict. The theory then is, that Mark wrote his gospel, so that the community in Rome could have this, when Peter was forced to leave the town.
Does anyone know where I can find anything about this theory. My source does not refer to anything.
