Google Voice on Ascend ?

It sounRAB like it's trying to forward but the nuraber that you are forwarding to is having issues or incorrect. Google VM works for many people on cricket on many Android phones, and the message you list above is not a problem on crickets end but on the destination nuraber side.

If you still receive the feature code error message after using *74 + 10digetnuraber (Dialing just *74 will automatically give you a feature code error), then it will be on crickets system. If you receive a error message about check the nuraber it's on googles end. Try with a different nuraber.........

It's funny, you and I share some of the same frustrations. I just wanted to let you know that call forwarding should work fine on the Android plan. My Cricket nuraber is 720-366-xxxx and my Google Voice nuraber is 720-254-xxxx, I'm successfully able to forward my calls using the *73 and *74 rules.

As long as you can login to mycricket.com, and it says your on the "ADR Smartphone All In $55" with "Call Forwarding-CF0", you should be able to forward the necessary calls to Google Voice voicemail. If it doesn't say "ADR Smartphone All In $55", you're not on the Android plan. Mine also has "Android Data-ADR" right below that.

I have verified that call forwarding doesn't really work on the $45/month plan, at least that last time a tried it, it seems to only forward to nurabers within the same prefix. So in my case, since my cricket nuraber is 720-366-xxxx, it would only successfully forward calls to any nuraber within 720-366-0001 and 720-366-9999. So essentially, you could pretty much only forward to another nuraber that Cricket owns.

But again, as long as you've been on the Android plan for more than a few days, you should be able to forward your missed cricket calls to google voice.

And yes, their customer service is disgraceful, honestly you'll have a better experience if you don't contact them.
