Well as we know Apple facing issue and now Android to join it as two people sued Google over $50 Million for data tracking! I think all of us aware about and Google do it intentionally rather then accidentally like Apple. What do you think about it?

yeah but..... this is kinda the point of google phone, no? and you can turn off location services in android anyway. the point of google is, yes, they like to have information, but it's only the information you provide them.

the point with suing apple is "that hidden file" that we didn't know about until now.

one of the drawbacks with most phones being "smart" is that your average user is still a bit of a technophobe & is not buying because of what it can do, but because they been advertised to & like the look of X new shiny smartphone. which is a real shame. get in there & explore the settings!!!

[edit].... it's the technophobes that apple are selling iphones to!

I don't know how they could win this suit. Google makes it very clear that they use location tracking. It's not hidden in anyway. Apple had it buried in it's 32 page EULA and labeled it something different. Meanwhile Google gives us the dashboard and the ability to see what they've collected. Google is very up front about these sorts of things. I don't know how you could sue them for being very honest about that they're doing?

I'm thinking this has to be a money grab. They're probably trying to just get Google to settle out of court for some quick cash.
