I have Windows XP and Chrome 8.0.552.28 beta I tried going to:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome
then right clicking the user data folder, but I get stuck because there is no security option when I right click....so the method described here won't work
(here's that method)
1.[drive]:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome
2.Right click on "User Data" folder
3.Go to "Security" tab
4.Click on "Advanced" button
5.Chek the last option "Replace permission entries..."
6.OK (this will take a few minutes)
7.OK
But I read about this method, but I don't know if I can do it (not sure how)
