Google Chrome refuses to open?

I accidentally blocked Google Chrome from getting internet access on my McAfee security but I unblocked it and thought it would be fine. But now Google chrome refuses to open at all. I click on the icon, I've clicked the icon in the taskbar, I've tried opening it from the Start menu, nothing will open it. I'm running Windows 7 on a brand new laptop.
Google Chrome has been working fine since Christmas when I got the laptop.
Can anyone help me?
Already re-installed Chrome.
