Once in a while as I'm on Google Chrome, the sound would stop working and any program that should produce sound (a Youtube page, Itunes, Windows Media Player, etc.) Would not be able to work and would freeze. This would fix itself after 1 or more restarts of the computer, however I don't want it to happen anymore.
I've reinstalled Flash and Shockwave many times, uninstalling the previous versions in the process. I've updated it and my drivers multiple times as well.
Sometimes this happens by itself. For example I was streaming on Justin.tv when Shockwave crashed, stopped my stream, and Adobe Media Encoder froze.
I would try to use another browser, such as Firefox, but I find that Google Chrome is slightly faster.
Is there any fix to this annoying problem?
