Good ways at starting converstations on MSN or TXT on mobile phone?

No one messages me on MSN or my phone any more. I don't bother emailing or messaging them either. I never no what to say. Can you give me examples of how you start converstaions on MSN or txt on phones that result in good converstations. I dont even get replies back on my phone (maybe due to them having no credit) or that im boring?

I dont think im exciting enougth to chat with, can you give me some examples of how to change this around so im messaged a lot?

BTW: Im 22 year old boy.
