There are a few 2D visual/graphical websites out there where people may use avatars/photos of various pixel sizes (some seem unlimited) to represent themselves. I'd like to start my own chatsite using similiar software, but whenever I try to research the information, I'm directed to other chatsites that doesn't even say what kind of software they're using or where they got it or otherwise the site looks sketchy.
Does anyone know of a good place to research for software?
This would be mostly for HTML-based chat with the ability to post pictures and change text color, font face, etc.
