I've had an Android 2.2 device on Verizon for a while now, and love it, but I have used the hell out of it and it's time to upgrade in a few months, and am researching devices. Must have Android 2.2 or higher, have a powerful CPU (at least 1ghz), plenty of ram for running large apps, a good GPU, at least a few gigs of internal storage, with upgradeable external storage, impressive battery life, a screen in excess of 4 inches, full HD camera, Wifi, and be durable within reason.
I am currently looking at the Droid X, however if there is anything more powerful (perhaps with a duel core processor) that would be great. Price is not an issue for me.
I am currently working with a 666mhz processor, and it is a bit laggy. But it's a cheep little Ally, and I've broken parts of it (dropped it while texting on my bike going about 40, still works though, screens fine) The screen is really small as well. Mostly got it to check out the Android OS, and quickly fell in love with the device and it's OS.
I've inspected the Droid Bionics specs, and I love it. That is most likely what I will purchase.
