I really, really want to to go to school in LA because I want to pursue film acting. I know about USC and UCLA, and while they are great schools and I'll apply to both of them, I need a safety school or two since my grades aren't exactly top-notch. I know that normally average grades wouldn't be a rejection, but because I'm from out of state, they'll expect more from me.
So, what other schools in the area are decent? As in, no horrible reputation and fairly easy to get into? (Also, hopefully not any more expensive that USC?)
If it helps to know: if I don't make it in acting (though I am gonna try really hard), I'm also interested in creative/screenwriting, and maybe even directing.
