Good SMS Phone for T-Mobile

I now have unlimited texting, but am remaining on a Family plan with 500 minutes shared between 4 people. This means i'll be texting a lot.

So I'm using a Nokia 3230 right now, and I am satisfied with the symbian interface, but not impressed either. I'd be willing to try something else.

My main requirements are (in this order):
- Good keypad and fast (this is relative, the 3230 is really slow) interface for SMS messaging.
- Bluetooth for syncing with a Macbook Pro (iSync and probably Salling Clicker)
- Good reception (I'm used to the reception out of a Nokia and I'd rather not lose that)

Some other things that I would like to try:
- Wifi on a phone would be very useful.
- I like large crisp screens

Size does not matter to me very much. I will not be wearing this on my hip, but I will also not be shoving it in a pocket. I will more likely keep it in some sort of messenger bag or satchel most of the time.

I will not be using EDGE or any of those services because I am not paying for internet usage, and hopefully, if I end up with a phone with Wifi, I will have internet without paying for those services.

I will be using T-Mobile with the phone btw, in Houston for the most part but also in Cincinnati. So having the 850 band is not necessary either but would also help.

So please send your recommendations my way. The phone I found that would meet all of my requests is the E61 by Nokia, but I would like to see what else I could get with comparable features. Thank you for your help!

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I would totally try out a Sidekick, but I simply cannot stand the interface with all those cartoon characters and bubbly icons. Ugh. Other than that thought the sidekick seems ideal for texting, sure.

Lush I read your review, and I am very impressed with that flip phone you are "pushing." I can't believe it has a 16M color screen at QVGA! That's as good as the E61 that I'm drooling over!

I'm still on the lookout, but I'm adding the 6131 to my list even though I'm not too keen on flip phones.
