Title:
Vampires, Werewolves, and Zombies Plus Sci Fi Oh My!

General gist: Vampires and Werewolves exist, they are the people in the powers, senators, mayors, lawyers doctors(where better to get your blood) Etc. They all look after each other, there are certain rules to be followed, about hunting, and what not. Wherever they are the homeless population is kept in check, and don't even get started on 3rd world countries. Enter the mad scientist/biologist, who finds about them. Lets say he has a hero complex and believes, he must rid the world of there kind, so he creates a virus, he tests it on some homeless. The virus gives them a hunger, he thinks that the vihomes will eat the vamps and wolves, doesn't work out like that instead, the vihomes start killing regular people and feasting on their flesh.

The vamps and wolves at first laugh at this, and send someone to kill the scientist after his little creations are loosed. But they soon see that after feasting the virus is transmitte
d. Soon certain places begin to be over run with the vihomes, and the food/prey population of the vamps and wolves began to fall drastically. So they plan on destroying them. But they find that the vihomes numbers are too great.

And the battle for top predator began with Vamp+Wolves vs Vihomes.

You know this is going into the Non-Fiction Category. When you hit the Best Seller List, Watcha going to do to top that.

my opinion (which you can as well ignore, if you want to):
it's kind of stereotypical ... will there be any twists? it feels like you already know the end of the story...

does it need to be a mad scientist?.. do the vamps and wolves need to be so bigheaded? why is the good/evil part so clean cut? what's that about 3rd world?
the mad scientist will not be killed by the one they sent, and then he is regarded as a hero when it all comes out, no?

if you can build the tension and make it thrilling, it's good. when the athmosphere's not there, it's cheap. all depends on how you will realize the story, not so much the plot...

well, crossed fingers for ya ;)

Wow! I don't think you'd fit all that into a short story - sounds like a novel to me! Good idea for a story, but dreadful title. Write the story and then you'll find it easier to think of something appropriate.
Good luck!
