Good shooting and good ball handling drills that I can do alone in the gym?

Full-court zig-zag dribbling so you can have a great crossover. Shots into the air (not at the hoop) to land them on a line. It is a test for the straightness of your shot. You can accomplish the same by shooting at the edge of the backboard. Shots off the dribble from wherever you catch the ball in games. Finally, a free throw game. Here is the scoring scale for this game of 5 FTs. For a perfect swish, 5 points. If it touches the rim once and goes in, take 4 points. If the ball touches the rim more than once, 3 points. A banked free throw is worth only one. Misses, of course, are zero. Twenty five points is a perfect score.

Shoot 5 shots from 5 positions around the floor, then add the amount of shots and always try to top your old score.
