It happens from time to time, our pets decide to pee on our carpets. I like to use bleach to disinfect. But you can't mix bleach with urine because it has ammonia in it. But what if you rinsed the area before using the bleach? So, you wash down the area with water to remove the urine, then dry it up with something and then use the bleach. Is this possible to do without creating a problem with chlorine gas?
