good program for permanently deleting history and temp files?

basically like the title says I'm looking for a program that permanently deletes browsing history and temp files stored by internet explorer or other browsers. i know you can go to delete history and stuff, but windows still saves a backup of that which you can access in dos. besides not wanting to leave my history available to anyone who uses my computer I'd also like to free up the hard drive space and speed up my computer. Thanks in advance
