I didn't write it, but it's one of the most recent of the many my friend has written.:
Angelic But Human
I walk on the sidewalk
soaking wet from constant rain
and then take a seat on the ground
to ease the lonely pain.....
All of a sudden the pouring stops
and a light shoots out from the sky
i tried to figure out what it is
but yet its still too high
Once it came into visible range
i saw the beauty within
She seemed like a goddess...an angel
but yet is completely human
Her personality astonishes
and she's intelligent and witty
She has such a radiant presence
and yes...she's very pretty ;]
I looked up to the heavens and thanked him
for I inferred what He intended to do
He sent me the perfect gift to bring me happiness
He had sent me... you :]
