Do some research. Since you say photography camera I will assume you want a fully adjustable camera like a 35 mm SLR or a DSLR. Both will give you the tools to become a photographer if you are willing to take a few classes in photography and not revert to the very frustrating "try and fail" method of learning.

After you have spent a lot of time studying the type cameras there are and the different lenses available for each brand, you will be in a better position to spend from $500 to $1500 on a starting camera system. Take your time, since it would be a shame for you to invest in the wrong system for the type subjects you tend to shoot.

Remember, once you choose a camera system, it is a lot like getting married. Changing later can cost you a lot of money.

Once you narrow your choice down to a couple of brands, go into a camera store and see which of the cameras fits your hands the best.

See which cameras menu is the easiest for you to use to make changes in ISO, camera resolution, white balance and make EV changes.

Finally take a SD card with you and test each camera at their highest and lowest ISO as well as when using the white balance that matches the light in the store as well as with it in the "auto white balance" mode.

Once you get home and are able to see the results, you will know which camera is better for YOU, not us
