the cheapest you can think of. to be used for groups/families in christmas portraits
i have a full frame canon and a tight budget
I don;t know how many people, I'm assuming max 5 or 6 at once?
My kit lens is EFs and not compatible with my 5D. my only lenses that fit my 5D are
50mm 1.8
85mm 1.8
neither are good for groups
and a crappy tamron I wouldnt use for people
I'm not concerned about low light, I'll be using it for Studio Photos with pocket wizards.
I do not intend to use this lens for anything else but these group photos (with backdrop I need to be visible)
I like the 85mm for individual portraits, but it has too shallow depth of field for groups.
