my girlfriend and i decided it would be fun to try out some backpacking. i was wondering what are the best places to go around san jose. also being our first time i think the trip should probably be one or two nights at the most. the only place i know of that has backpacking is at castle rock sp. is that a good place for beginners? what should i know before i get myself into this? thanks
