I have a goal of signing into the military by late fall by the latest. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 204 pounds. My fitness goal is to be at about 180 pounds by my deadline, but I need some input on what kinds of exercises I can do to burn the fat away. My brother, who lost a ton of weight recently told me to drink a lot of water and to do cardio exercises. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me some good cardio exercises and how long I should do them for each day. I also have a workout DVD called "Fitness Made Simple: Better Body Basics" that includes upper body, lower body, ab, warmup, and cooldown exercises, and was wondering if I should be doing that everyday in addition to the cardio.
