Hey everyone! I am 15 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I am an active duty Marine so I am in good shape and have always been active, but since being pregnant I haven't felt comfortable running anymore, so my workout routine has slowed down considerably. Also, I am supposed to keep my heart rate below 135 when I workout... doctor's orders. I've been doing cycling, speed walking, some elliptical... light cardio like that. I've just started attending a prenatal yoga class as well. But since quitting running, I've noticed some significant sagging of my posterior
Just be clear, I am in no way trying to avoid gaining weight. I am well aware and prepared for my body to change for this pregnancy. But I would still like to remain fit and active. Also, its good for the baby to get your circulation going daily.
So does anyone know any good pregnancy workout routines? Or maybe a good website or book to turn to? Some good toning exercises is really what I'm looking for. Especially for the legs, butt, and arms. Not really looking for cardio, but that helps too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance, everyone!
