We're going non-traditional for Thanksgiving and doing a fish meal. I'm in charge of desserts. Any ideas of something to make? I was thinking something lighter like a fruit tart or something lemon. Any ideas??

New England is famous for seafood:

Mainly puddings and stuffings; quite fitting for Thanksgiving I say.

Seems even more fitting since Plymouth Rock is in the New England area:

that sounds perfect,

A lemon-berry tart!

make your tart crust and form in your pan
have a lemon curd filling and top with fresh strawberries and blue berries. Yum garnish with fresh mint, mmm

How about those mini cream puffs. If you make them yourself, you can put a little lemon curd into the filling. They stack beautifully in a bowl and make a nice presentation sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Try Creamy Lemon Triangles which is found in my favourite baking recipe site: cookiemadness.net there are even pictures to go with the recipe!
Careful, you might get distracted in checking out other recipes along the way....
